Well hello and Happy New Year friends!
This past month has been spent on the run.. with a few days of relaxation tucked in there…eating fondue in Paris, listening to carols at Westminster Abbey on Christmas Eve, snapping pics of Edinburgh Castle and ringing in the New Year at home surrounded by great friends.
We kicked off the holidays with a weekend in Paris after my Grandma (AKA Grammie) arrived:
On Christmas Eve, we went to Westminster Abbey for the candlelight Carol Service which was pretty breathtaking…
Christmas morning, Grammie made Kahlua french toast with mimosas….amazing!

It was sad to see Grammie go, but the next day, our friends from the States came over for a long weekend in Edinburgh:
We hopped a quick flight back to London in time to ring in the New Year – dance party, champagne and gold crowns with friends – a perfect way to celebrate 2012.
I’m exhausted. But filled to the brim with all of the incredible moments – big and small – of the past month.
I had a bit of the post-holidays blues this week, but a few good nights of sleep and hauling away our pathetically dead Christmas tree helped.
Tyler’s mom arrived and will be spending the next week in Notting Hill with us… be back soon! xo

It was a magical Christmas! I wish it could have been longer but it was back to work for us all!
